“Asia Consortium on Computational Materials Science Pre-Real Organization Meeting”

Satellite session of Nano Korea 2018 Symposium
July 13, 2018 (9:00-18:00) / KINTEX2 Rm308

Since the initiation of Asia Consortium on Computational Materials Science (ACCMS) in 2000, the consortium has been promoting R&D activities in computational materials science in Asian countries. It has been also building a strong network among researchers in Asia Pacific region by 18 biannual symposia, 8 topical or working group meetings and 12 virtual organization (ACCMS-VO) meetings. For more details, please visit ACCMS home page.

ACCMS-VO will be in its second phase with the name of ACCMS-PRO (Pre-real organization). Researchers in Korea Institute of Science and Technology would take the role of coordinating the ACCMS-PRO activity. This meeting is to share the plan of ACCMS-PRO and to prepare the detail operations.

This meeting will also focus on the new theoretical approaches in the field of computational materials science and will share the vision of the academic exchanges among researchers between Asia and Europe.

Final program is available. Agenda-512
